[tps_header]Just because everyone loves to talk about who’s the best in what cities, we’re starting off a series of top flag football player rankings in the Dallas area with the Top 5 on 5 flag football quarterbacks.  Let us know what you think in the comments below![/tps_header]

[tps_title]Brandon Maynard[/tps_title]

#5a) Brandon Maynard

Brandon isn’t really a quarterback and yet he wins his fair share of games at that position. Maynard has really developed a good system and is smart in his decisions. He is very quick and has arguably the best hips in Dallas. If he keeps playing QB he will keep getting better and better.

#5b) Juan Carlos Villarreal

Got to give credit where credit is due. He has been making deep runs in tournaments in Dallas for the last year. Although he is mainly an 8man QB, has really come into his own in 5-man. He has a bit of an unorthodox style but it works for him. If you give him any time at all he is going to pick you apart.

Old man river comes in 4th on the 5-man list. His system is made and tailored for the 4-man game but has some good success in this format. He has evolved some of the throw backs and creativity that you see in the 5man game. If he is playing, he is a front runner in tournaments.

Dustin Parrish Dustin is a long time flag football player and organizer with experience in some of the top tournaments across the country. Having competed in and won with teams in many of the top 4man, 5man and 8man competitions in the Dallas area he has accumulated over $50,000 in total winnings from the various events.
